This page explains what data Namuvis handles, what it's used for, and which external services are involved.
Accounts and reviews
Namuvis does not have user accounts, sign-in, or passwords. Resident reviews are submitted without an account and stored, along with the address they relate to, so they can be shown on that address's public page.
Preventing abuse
To help prevent spam and automated abuse, Namuvis limits how many requests (such as searches or reviews) can be made in a short time. The information used for this is kept only briefly, does not build a profile of anyone, is not used for advertising or tracking, and does not identify who submitted a review.
Product statistics
Namuvis itself keeps a small set of aggregate counts (for example, how often searching an address leads to a submitted review) to understand whether the product is working, not to track individuals. These counts use no cookie, persistent anonymous ID, session ID, or device fingerprint.
Google Analytics (only with your consent)
If you choose "Allow analytics", Namuvis loads Google Analytics, a service provided by Google, to understand in aggregate how the site is used — for example, which kinds of pages are visited and how often a search leads to a review. Without your consent it is not loaded and no Google Analytics cookie is set. When it runs, Google receives technical information about your visit (such as browser details) as part of how the service works. Namuvis masks address page links, so Google Analytics sees only that an address page was viewed, not which address, and Namuvis does not send search text, review or report content, or exact coordinates. Google Analytics is not used for advertising or remarketing here: its advertising features, Google signals and ad personalization are turned off. You can change your choice at any time under "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page; withdrawing consent stops analytics and removes its cookies from this site.
Cookies
Namuvis sets namuvis_locale, which remembers the language you chose (one year), and namuvis_analytics_consent, which remembers your analytics choice (180 days). Only if you allow analytics, Google Analytics sets analytics cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by this site's measurement ID; they expire at most 13 months after they are first set. Namuvis sets no advertising cookies.
Language preference
If you choose a language with the language selector, Namuvis stores that choice in a single cookie so the site opens in the same language next time. It contains only the language code and is not used for analytics or tracking.
External map and address providers
Address search and the interactive map are provided by Geoapify, using address and map data from OpenStreetMap contributors. Searching an address or loading the map sends a request to these providers; Namuvis does not control how they themselves handle requests they receive.
Official information
Where shown, building, transport, and environmental information comes from official public registers and authorities, imported separately from resident reviews. This data describes buildings and locations, not individuals.
